With majority of the beneficiaries being women, NYSASDRI can hardly ignore women issues in its activities. In fact, Many of NYSASDRI’s programs are strategically, tailored towards addressing concerns of women, their empowerment and skills development. Women often bear the burden of poverty, and working with women is usually the most effective way to reach the entire household.

Though all the programmes of the organisation directly or indirectly address women issues, the organisation has taken up some special programmes to create opportunity for the women. So they can have a dignified and decent life - free from any kind of social exploitation and harassment. The organisation supports women as mass and individual socially, economically and psychologically. In addition, these programmes enable them to demand their rights and build a healthy society.
