COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
Community is the best development actor for themselves. They understand their problem and its solution better than none. But it is shocking that their expertise and experience is always ignored by many of the development actors.

Community development is attained by active participation and contribution. Community Development (CD) is one of the major strategic formulas to change situations in India. It has been accepted since 1952 and CD blocks formed. In Indian context, community can perform a positive lead role in their development.

 
 

For the purpose, capacity building of the communities socially, economically and psychologically is very necessary.

NYSASDRI, unlike other organisation, concentrate on this ideology and through its all efforts tries to enable the community to speak for themselves. It takes care in restoring their self-confidence and enhances their self-determination.
