Intervention Strategy

NYSASDRI believes in community power. We consider the people as the most effective actor for their own development. We always respect their knowledge and opinion. Community participation is the central part of all of the process. As a grass root organisation we design our own strategy to focus on the micro level. We try to build up and strengthen CBOs and PRIs. We also enable linkages between the voices of the people and the governance institutions. Our approach can broadly be divided into the following aspects:

• Direct demonstration of development initiatives at
   Micro level.

• Creating new knowledge and opportunities.  

• Training and capacity building of the community and the service provider. 

• Public education.

•  Policy advocacy.

•  Networking.

• Research.
